The Yakima Raptor Aero version includes universal adapter clamps for mounting to any factory rack crossbars, while the regular Yakima Raptor is compatible with Yakima roof rack round bars and Thule square bars (also compatible with factory rack bars if used in combination with a set of Yakima Universal Mighty Mounts adapters). The Raptor Aero and Raptor fit virtually all bicycle sizes and shapes from small 20" wheel kids bikes and bmx style bikes on up to cruisers & hybrids, road bikes and mountain bikes. Securely clamps right onto bicycle down tube for a very solid and sturdy attachment. Easy to use over-sized knob for quick clamping adjustment. Upright mounting design allows both wheels to stay on. Optionally lock bicycle inside either bike carrier using a Yakima SKS lock core.
